I hope the website paints a picture that incorporates all aspects of being a man. To connect with fathers who have lost sons and with sons who have lost fathers, from suicide to old age and a spectrum of events in between.
While still coming to terms with being a father who has lost his son to suicide, I of course became painfully aware that there are many sons, who have lost there fathers to suicide. I can’t talk about that from personal experience, but I can understand the complexity of a father – son relationship in both directions. I had a father and I had a son. I am a father and I am a son.
I’d love to hear from you, if you have a story to tell around any aspect of Fathers. Your own story and insight will inevitably add to the bigger picture and be of great help someone else. So, please drop me a line via the Contact Page and lets start a dialogue.
